The Heart Behind the Table

Meet Chef Roger Martins, the founder and executive chef of Chef Roger’s Kitchen.

Roger was 13 years old when he fell in love with the artistry behind food. Thanks to his parents, Jose and Maria Martins, who ran a family restaurant in São Paulo, Brazil, Roger was constantly inspired by vibrant and diverse flavors from around the globe. The more Roger created in the kitchen, the more he wanted to turn his passion into his career.

Upon arriving to the U.S., Roger quickly became the Executive Chef at the award-winning Mitra Restaurant in Midtown. Then came an exciting move to another celebrated spot, Sia’s, in Johns Creek, where he led the way in fine dining.

Now, Chef Roger’s Kitchen is his pride and joy. As a true family business, Roger and his wife, Isabella, work side-by-side to bring their clients’ events to life. Isabella coordinates the event details, meetings, and logistics while Roger cooks up a menu that everyone will love. Together, they’ve made Chef Roger’s Kitchen a place where incredible food and unforgettable events are united.

Whether it’s a big celebration or an intimate gathering, Roger and Isabella’s mission is simple: to create meaningful moments that make everyone feel connected. After all, food has the power to bring people together, and every meal tastes better in good company.

Our Values

Time to Bloom, a Night to Remember

The Cactus Flower

In our kitchen, we have cactus plants everywhere. Seriously.

Though Chef Roger himself does have an affinity for cactus plants, these plants are more than just decor, they are a symbol for what we do. Especially when they bloom.

Cactus plants can take years to bloom a single flower, and when they do, the flower usually only lasts for one night. It’s a moment of sheer beauty and perfection, carefully timed to make an entrance, savor the moment, and disappear in a way that makes you wish it could have stayed for longer.

In the same way, events take time to bring to life, and they only last for a short while. They’re highly anticipated, incredible to enjoy, and if done right, makes you wish that it never had to end.

At Chef Roger’s Kitchen, we surround ourselves with these beautiful plants to remind us of our goal: to create an event with you that will be your own “cactus flower.”
